Authorities say another guard and six other prisoners remained hospitalized with injuries but one other prisoner has already been treated and released to a jail. Conditions of the injured were not immediately disclosed.
Green says all 12 van occupants had to be cut from the wreckage.
Police had no immediate identification of those involved.
