Boy shot in face during shootout

An 11-year-old boy is in the hospital after getting caught in the crossfire of a shootout in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

Police say the boy suffered a graze wound to the face during gunfire at about 11:15 Sunday night along North Sixth Street near Lycoming Street.

Investigators say three shots were fired from a nearby playground on Marshall Street.

The young victim is in stable condition at Saint Chrisopher's Hospital for Children.

Police are looking for one person who was seen running from the area just after the shooting.
