Swift still waiting for a personal apology
NEW YORK (AP) -- September 15, 2009 West has apologized for interrupting Swift's acceptance speech
at the MTV Video Music Awards on "The Jay Leno Show" and he's
blogged an apology, but Swift tells "The View" "he has not
personally reached out" to her.
Swift says a lot of things were going through her mind when West
jumped on stage and grabbed the microphone from her. She says she
thought, "oh, Kanye West is here. Cool haircut. What are you doing
there?"
Swift says she was "rattled" for a moment, but had to pull
herself back together to perform five minutes later.
Swift has been swamped with support from fans and other stars.
She says she had no idea so many people were looking out for her.
