2 weeks til tax hike

September 24, 2009 The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue confirmed to Action News that starting October 8, the tax will jump from 7-percent to 8-percent in the city.

That will be 2-percent higher than the suburbs.

The hike could raise $115-million a year, but will expire in 5 years.
