Zazi was put on a U.S. government plane in Denver on Friday afternoon after a magistrate ordered him transferred to New York to face charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.
The 24-year-old Zazi was arrested in Denver a week ago on a charge of lying to investigators. Prosecutors say he wanted to use homemade hydrogen peroxide bombs on the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Zazi has denied being a terrorist. He's set to appear for a hearing in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
