CLAYMONT, Del. - September 28, 2009 New Castle County police spokesman Cpl. Trinidad Navarro says
25-year-old Edmond Dejesus broke into the woman's Claymont home
Saturday night, forced her to the floor and bit her top lip. When
the woman's mother tried to intervene, she was also assaulted.
Navarro says the woman's current boyfriend was able to free the
woman and Dejesus punched him in the face before fleeing. As police
responded, an officer spotted Dejesus' white Honda Civic and
pursued him, the chase was called off after Dejesus crossed into
Pennsylvania.
