A long convoy of trucks moved through New Castle, Delaware, carrying sections of the World Trade Center towers back to New York Tuesday.

The steel sections had been sent to a testing lab in Maryland after the disaster 8 years ago.

Engineers studied them to learn how to make buildings stronger.

The trucks carried patriotic messages, including the phrase "never forget."

The steel will eventually be used in memorials around the country.
