Suspect sought in road rage incident

LEWES, Del. - September 30, 2009 It happened around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say a 61-year-old man was driving eastbound in Fisher Road near Cool Spring Road when another driver in a dark colored truck came up in the opposite lane with the high beams on.

The victim told police he flashed his high beams to remind the other driver his were still on. When the suspect failed to dim the lights, the victim said he kept his high beams on in an effort to remind the other driver.

As the truck passed, the victim told police the suspect threw a racket out of the vehicle, striking the victim on the head. He suffered a bump.

Police recovered the racket at the scene and are investigating the case.
