The victims are identified as 31-year-old Amin Guy of the 700 block of E. 10th Street in Wilmington, Delaware and 38-year-old Francis Leighton (AKA Leighton Francis) of the 700 Block of S. Harmony Road in Newark.
Both men were killed inside a vehicle on September 1, 2008 in the 700 Block of E. 10th Street.
Michael T. Washington of the 500 block of Barrett Street was arrested for the murders and indicted by a grand jury on Monday September 28, 2009.
On Wednesday September 30, 2009, Washington was officially charged with the murders. He is currently serving a sentence in the James T. Vaughn Correction Institute in Smyrna on an unrelated charge.
