Horse killed in crash on NJ Turnpike

EAST GREENWICH TWP., N.J. - October 1, 2009 It happened in the southbound lanes of the turnpike near Route 322 in East Greenwich Township around 2:00 pm.

A vehicle hit the back of a horse trailer, striking and killing the horse inside.

One right lane of traffic was blocked.
