The shooting occurred around 2:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Platinum Sports Bar, located on the 4100 block of Torresdale Avenue.
Patrons ran for cover as the gunman opened fire in the parking lot.
One man, identified as 24-year-old George Williams of the 2500 block of South Massey Street, was shot multiple times and taken by ambulance to Temple University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
So far, there have been no arrests and no there's word on what sparked the shooting. Police are investigating.
