ex, lies and videotape: It's all part of the latest corruption scandal in Atlantic City, which is known almost as much for its dirty politicians as for its slot machines and card tables. A trial began Thursday for three men accused of luring a city councilman who is also a Baptist minister to a motel room, secretly filming him having sex with a hooker, and using the videotape to try to embarrass him into resigning.

Floyd Tally and David and Ronald Callaway are charged with conspiracy, criminal coercion and invasion of privacy. They deny the charges.

The Callaways' brother, former council president Craig Callaway, admitted masterminding the plot.
