ERIE, Pa. (AP) - October 9, 2009

Police say 29-year-old Montrel Amos told a clerk at the Circle K store that he had a gun before taking the food about 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a witness described the car Amos used and police stopped and arrested him a short time later.

Police say they did not find a weapon but recovered the stolen items.

Amos is charged with robbery, possessing instruments of crime and retail theft.

Online court records do not list an attorney for him.
