Thousands turned out this weekend for the Delaware Mud Run, a boot-camp-like slog through an obstacle course to raise money for a leukemia charity. The 5-kilometer race was held to benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware and was held at Frightland in Middletown. An estimated 4,400 turned out Sunday for the event.

Runners climbed walls, crawled through a mud-filled tunnel and scaled hills of dirt at the Halloween-themed complex in Middletown.
