RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - October 13, 2009
Brinkley's attorney, Peter Caronia, issued a statement early
Tuesday saying a settlement had been reached. That was just hours
before the factions were due to face off in a Long Island
courtroom.
Later, an attorney for ex-husband Peter Cook, James Winkler,
insisted nothing had been set in stone.
Caronia's statement claimed there was an agreement denying
Cook's requests - including anger management for the former
supermodel.
The dueling exes have accused each other of violating a divorce
settlement reached after Cook admitted an affair with a 19-year-old
babysitter.
