Officers arrived at a 37-year-old woman's home and heard glass breaking. The officers saw Strouse fleeing through the home's back door. He was caught after a short chase and treated at Christiana Hospital for several cuts.
Police say Strouse broke in and attacked the woman. Police said she was bitten, punched, choked and hit with a wooden chair. Her children, ages 5 and 10, fled the home during the attack.
She escaped, hiding under her bed to call 911. Police said Strouse ransacked her home, causing $10,000 in damage.
