13-year-old hit by car in Wilmington

WILMINGTON - October 17, 2009 Authorities tell Action News that a 13-year-old boy was riding on a bicycle in the 2000 block of Maryland Avenue in Wilmington was struck by a vehicle shortly before 10:00 p.m.

The teen was taken to Christiana Hospital. The 13-year-old is said to be in extremely critical condition.

Police continue to investigate.
