Rechargeable batteries recall

About 19,600 rechargeable batteries sold with portable DVD/CD/MP3 players, made in China and imported by Coby Electronics Corp., of Lake Success, N.Y., because the batteries can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The company has received 10 reports of batteries overheating, including eight reports of fires resulting in property damage. No injuries have been reported.
