Police say a car traveling west on Media Street struck a car traveling south on 61 Street. The impact sent that car into a parked car.
The driver of the car that was hit, a 61-year-old man, was taken to Lankeneau Hospital in critical condition. He is reportedly paralyzed from the neck down.
The driver of the striking car was taking to Jefferson Hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
