Wash. lt. gov.'s son wounded in workplace shooting

SEATTLE (AP) - November 9, 2009

A spokesman for Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, Brian Dirks, says Mark Owen was wounded in the shooting Monday afternoon at the auto body shop where he works.

Mark Owen is in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson said.

Kent police say the shooting appeared to involve a dispute between two co-workers, with one employee shot in the arm and abdomen, and the other apparently shooting himself in the head, suffering life-threatening injuries.
