For candy you can use for your candy bowls through Thanksgiving and Christmas, check for clearance sales at your local food or drug store. I just bought a huge bag of assorted Hershey's candies, which sold for $12 for Halloween, for just $4 at my local RiteAid. The candies are in their regular wrappers, not Halloween wrappers, so there's no reason they couldn't be used as stocking-stuffers.
The same RiteAid had all sorts of masks, wigs, candles and other decor items for 75% off. I bought candles for next year's Jack-O-Lanterns as well.
Then there are various clearance sales on costumes.
Buy Costumes.com is having a clearance sale now that Halloween is over and you can take an additional 25% off your purchase with the code clear25 at checkout. This offer expires on November 16, 2009.
There are also costumes on clearance at The Disney Store.
