Twenty-three-year-old Krystal Mariani of Upper Darby pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree murder, conspiracy and theft in the fatal beating of Rita Hreha last year.
Mariani's boyfriend, David J. Galdo, had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last month for killing the woman who his family says helped raise him.
Hreha was found dead on the kitchen floor of her Yeadon home in March 2008. According to court documents, Galdo and Mariani are drug addicts who cashed a check for $500 from Hreha's account.
Galdo was been sentenced to life in prison last month. Mariani was sentenced to 32 to 64 years in prison on Thursday.
