Slow speed pursuit turns into large police response

PORT RICHMOND – November 17, 2009 Police say the pursuit began in the south bound inner lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard. The pursuit, which began as slow, picked up steam and moved over to Bridge Street before culminating at Aramingo Avenue in the Port Richmond section.

The driver was taken into custody, but thus far, no word what the person was wanted for. At least 15-police cruisers and a police van cordoned off the area until the matter was complete.
