Philadelphia Gas Works is urging customers to apply for LIHEAP while grant money is still available.
LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, is very different this year in terms of eligibility requirements and application periods. PGW says customers need to take action now to understand how the program changes will affect them.
Also, households without heat may be eligible to apply for help immediately.
Go to the Sedgley District Office of the Philadelphia County Assistance Office. You'll need your social security numbers and proof of yearly income for everyone living in the home.
