Legislators on Thursday are scheduled to debate the measure that would legalize table games at Pennsylvania's slot-machine casinos. The House began discussion of the bill before adjourning late Wednesday.
The legislation would still require a final House vote and Senate approval before it could become law.
The expanded gambling legislation is a key piece of the agreement that filled a multibillion-dollar budget shortfall in October.
