Students become secret Santas

PHILADELPHIA - December 13, 2009

Just minutes after finishing one final exam, and before studying for another, a group of Philadelphia University MBA scholars took time out to wrap gifts for a family who would otherwise do without.

For the 2nd year in a row, the students got down to the business of helping others, answering the call of the United States Postal Service's Operation Santa.

They chose a letter from a young boy concerned, not for himself, but for his mother and 2 brothers.

The students pitched in their money and shopped for toys, clothes, candy and other gifts then wrapped their fingers off.

With the gifts all wrapped, it's back to the post office for delivery, before getting back to the books. It looks like this is one project they'll all get an "A" on.
