At approximately 3:30 a.m. Sunday the gunman entered the Glendale Happy Harry's, located at 1120 Pulaski Highway in Bear.
The suspect, brandishing a handgun, initially forced three employees and one customer to the pharmacy area. He demanded the pharmacist turn over prescription narcotics and then forced the store manager to turn over money from the registers.
The ordeal lasted for approximately 25 minutes before the gunman forced those in the store to lie face down on the floor, then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 35-years-old, standing 6'01" to 6'-05", 180 - 200 pounds, light skin complexion, average build, and clean-shaven. He was wearing a hooded jacket, black jeans and black boots.
