In a turnabout, an Ohio sex offender says he got private information on his neighbors, including their Social Security numbers.
Convicted rapist Pearly Wilson is now 80, out of prison and off the sex offender registry.
He says he received names, birth dates, Socials and addresses of nine former Columbus neighbors while representing himself in a sex offender lawsuit.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says his office accidentally gave Wilson the information, which was part of a background check.
There is no indication Wilson misused anything. But his former neighbors are wondering why the government has data about them at all.
