These recordings add yet another dimension to what exactly happened that afternoon.

"Hey, ferry, ferry, ferry, whoa whoa whoa whoa."

The panicked unidentified voice came over the radio as the 250 foot tug and barge collided with a duck boat in the Delaware River on July 7th.

The collision sent 37 people in the water and took the lives of 20-year-old Szabolcs Prem and 16-year-old Dora Schwendtner.

Not long after impact, the captain from another tugboat "Freedom" called the alert into the Coast Guard after coming across the scene:

"This is Freedom; we've got people in the water at Penn's Landing. It looks like they got run over by a barge from the duck boat. I'm going to go pick them up."

[Roger, Captain, how many persons are in the water, over?]

"No idea, I don't have time to talk right now, I'm going to get the people."

In the recordings, the Coast Guard calls to other crews in the area to be on the lookout for 30 people in the water around Penn's Landing.

Later on, the first recordings from the Caribbean Sea, the vessel that hit the duck, can be heard:

"We're the ones that, I guess, capsized the duck boat, we're on scene making sure nobody got injured, or we can help in any way, we do have a barge alongside, not too much we can do."

[Roger, Captain, if possible, request you throw any lifejackets or flotation devices you could towards the person in the water, over]

"Not a problem."

These recordings are just some of the many elements federal investigators are reviewing.

They also continue to examine the structural damage of both vessels.

The Caribbean Sea's GPS and electronic chart navigation devices were removed and taken to NTSB Headquarters for analysis.
