The blaze started just before 1 a.m Friday along the 200 block of Moores Lane in New Castle, Delaware.
Several people had to be rescued from the building, which was fully engulfed in flames at the time firefighters arrived.
One adult and a child were injured and taken to Christiana Hospital.
In all, about 10 people had their homes destroyed by the fast-moving fire. It took firefighters more than an hour to get the flames under control.
