At 11:50 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Hunt Terrace for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, the officers found a man lying face down on the ground in front of a residence on the street. A second man was standing at 11th Street and Hunt Terrace and was found to have a gunshot wound to the arm.
Paramedics transported both to Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
The first victim was pronounced dead a short while later.
The second male was treated and admitted to the hospital. The name of the victim is being withheld until notification of family.
