Authorities said Monday they found more than 3,200 pornographic images on a computer flash drive taped underneath a sink at Stephen W. Carman's home in Smyrna.
Carman, a 54-year-old convicted sex offender, was arrested last week after authorities acting on a tip found more than 50 child porn images on his computer. The flash drive with additional images was found after he asked a family member during a jail phone call to destroy additional evidence. The family member instead alerted authorities.
Carman is being held in lieu of $545,000 cash bond on charges of dealing in child pornography, attempting to destroy evidence, and criminal solicitation.
