Suspect wanted for 3 bank robberies

August 2, 2010 The same man is also believed to be responsible for the robberies of the Wachovia Bank branch located on the 2200 block of South Broad Street on 7/23/2010 and the Citizens Bank branch located at 10000 block of Bustleton Avenue on 7/26/2010.

The man entered the Conestoga Bank branch Monday afternoon and showed a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the area of the bank and was last seen heading westbound on Porter Street.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a white male in his 20's to early 30's, 5'5" tall, thin to medium build, with a thin beard and large tattoos on both forearms. In the previous robberies, the suspect was wearing baseball caps and sunglasses pulled down on his face, and large tattoos were visible on both forearms. During Monday's robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark hat with a white "M" on the front, sunglasses covering his eyes, a grey long-sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and denim shorts or Capri-length pants.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
