Two officers sprayed with bleach in North Phila.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - August 3, 2010

It happened around 3:00 p.m. in the 2800 block of North 23rd Street.

Officers arrived and began breaking up the fight. At one point, police discovered a stabbing victim at the scene.

Then, during the melee, the officers were sprayed.

After they were hit, the officers called for assistance.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed that numerous officers responded to that call.

The injuries to the officers did not appear to be serious.

The person who was stabbed appeared to have been injured in the chest with a screwdriver. The injuries were not life-threatening.

Another man suffered a broken jaw.

It is unclear what sparked the fight.
