All the action was part of the fifth annual Kids Sports Spectacular sponsored by the United Spinal Association and Comcast Spectacor.
"The point of the Kids Sports Spectacular is introduce kids to adapted sports so that every child has the opportunity to play as any of their peers would want to," said Paul Tobin, president of the United Spinal Association.
Like most athletes, these players love sports for the teamwork, challenge and competition. But for them the opportunity to play and compete is about much more than scoring a goal or making a basket.
The athletes' families are their biggest fans. Many of these parents spend entire weekends driving all over so their kids can compete. But they all seem to agree the effort is worth the payoff.
The athletes may be limited in terms of their movement, but they're certainly unlimited in their potential and their ability to have fun.
