Cuba Libre is celebrating National Rum Day by giving away free "rumsicles" from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. today (August 16, 2010) at the restaurants at Second and Market streets in Philadelphia and at The Quarter in Atlantic City.
What are rumsicles? According to the restaurant's press release, rumsicles are "popsicle cocktails crafted from fresh fruit and fruit purees, blended with Cuba Libre brand premium rums."
The Rumsicles each contain one ounce of rum. They're available in four fruit flavors: Watermelon, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Mango. The Rumsicles will be offered until Labor Day at all Cuba Libre restaurants at the regular price of $5 each ($4 during Happy Hour).
