The fire broke out around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on the unit block of East 9th Street in Marcus Hook.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in an upper floor. They were able to get the fire under control with a half hour.
It was determined that the house was vacant at the time of the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
