It happened just after 9:30 p.m. on the ramp connecting northbound I-95 to the westbound Vine Street Expressway.
Police say a 27-year-old male driver lost control of his car. The vehicle then flipped over and burst into flames.
Luckily, the man escaped serious injury. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment.
The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
