The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of Red Lion Road and Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.
The injured driver was taken to an area hospital where they are listed in serious but stable condition.
Traffic on the inner northbound lanes of the Boulevard are currently blocked, affecting morning rush hour.
