Three relatives of accused pastor charged

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - August 25, 2010

Police said Linette Rosado, Lydia Rosado and Gamaliel Rosado Jr. followed one of the alleged victims, harassing and threatening her and her family. They said the trio hurled insults while stalking the girl and her siblings.

Earlier this month, prosecutors charged Santos Rosado, 44, with raping a 12-year-old girl. The attacks continued until she was 18, police said.

Documents also said that he met his latest victim at Bethlehem Community Fellowship, where he was a pastor. That girl was 14.

Police said the sexual assaults lasted for two years.

According to court documents, Rosado told the victim he had strong feelings for her and had been watching her for a long time.

The victim told police she was falling in love with Rosado and it confused her because she looked at him as a father figure, according to those documents.

The victim told police she and Rosado had sex at numerous locations in Bethlehem, including her home and his home in the 500 block of Wyandotte Street.

According to court documents, when the victim became angry at her mother she would run away from home and Rosado would hide her.

Police said the sexual assaults continued until June 2009.

Earlier this month, Rosado was charged with raping and sexually assaulting another girl.

In addition to these charges, Rosado is also accused of making fake player cards at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, where he worked.
