Support for veteran director Carl Greene is waning among board members who oversee the nation's fourth largest public housing agency.
The 53-year-old Greene has also faced a threatened foreclosure on his luxury home and an IRS tax lien this year.
Board chairman John Street says he had no idea the agency had settled at least four sexual-harassment complaints involving Greene.
Street, a former mayor, says he no longer presumes Greene is fit for the job.
The board will discuss Greene's 12-year tenure at private and public meetings Thursday.
Greene has taken leave through mid-September to battle stress.
