Police responded to a report of a possible shooting inside a house on the 200 block of Oak Park Road shortly after 4:30p.m.
Once there, they found a woman on the front lawn.
Police then surrounded the home with guns drawn as they believed a violent domestic incident may be taking place.
That idea soon left authorities' minds when the woman's husband arrived home and informed officers that no one else was in the house, except the dog.
Police then entered the home and gave the house the all clear.
The woman turned out to be impaired and was charged with public drunkenness and filing a false report.
