Paint Township Officer William Gephart says the mother of the girl will soon face charges for sending the girl to homes and churches to collect money to support Windber Pee-Wee Cheerleaders in Cambria County.
Police say the organization doesn't send out children to collect donations.
Some of the money collected was from the sale of candles that were not delivered.
Police say they're trying to determine how many people were victimized before they file charge against the woman for keeping the money her daughter collected from February to April this year.
