It began on the 1900 block of Harrison Street.
Police say someone started shooting; the victim tried to get away but he was shot multiple times.
The 18-year-old victim kept running until he collapsed on the 4800 block of Tackawanna Street around 1:30 a.m.
The victim was taken by car to Aria Hospital-Frankford Division where he was pronounced dead.
Police tell Action News that a parked car was struck by a stray bullet in the 1800 block of Harrison Street.
Another bullet went through a window of a sunroom of a home belonging to an elderly woman. The woman, who lives alone, was not in the sunroom at the time but was awake in another room on the same floor. She was not hurt.
