The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Hornig Street in Northeast Philadelphia.
One of the trucks crashed into the other as it was making a turn.
A driver of one of the trucks was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
The inner northbound lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard were blocked for some time as investigators remained on the scene.
The accident scene has been cleared and traffic has since reopened.
