A car slammed into a home and came to rest in the living room late Tuesday night in New Castle County, Delaware.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of Pickwick Drive in Pike Creek.

Police arrived to find a 1994 Oldsmobile partially protruding from the home.

The driver, 22-year-old Sean Talmo, was still in the car and complaining of neck pain. Police say Talmo lives in the area.

Police say Talmo was driving down Pickwick Drive when he blacked out. His vehicle then traveled off the road and struck the home.

Officers say they found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

The residence was occupied, but no one was injured inside the home. The residents had to leave because the structural damage made the home unsafe.

Police say charges against Talmo are pending the results of the investigation.
