The one fatal victim has been identified as 18-year-old Arick Price from West Grove, Pa.
Authorities say he was the driver of the Neon involved.
The second fatal victim was a 15-year-old female from Landenberg, a passenger in the Neon.
The accident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on State Road, just east of Meadow Woods Lane in London Grove, Chester County.
A '98 Plymouth Neon, driven by Price, was traveling on State Road and approaching a curve in the roadway.
Authorities say the second vehicle, a '00 GMC Yukon driven by 48-year-old Henry Manlove, was lawfully approaching the curve from the opposite direction.
Price drove to the left side of the marked double lines of the roadway and attempted to overtake and pass multiple vehicles proceeding in the same direction as he was.
As a result, the front end of Price's car hit the front end of the Yukon in a head-on collision.
Price and the 15-year-old female were pronounced dead on scene.
The two remaining passengers in the Neon were transported to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
Manlove and three passengers in the Yukon were also transported to Christiana with serious injuries.
