There police, responding to a report of a man with a gun, arrived to find a 27-year old hispanic man standing on the steps of a convenience store he was armed with a gun.
Officers ordered the man to drop the gun but the man failed to comply.
That's when at least one officer fired at the man, striking him in the mid-section.
The suspect is listed in critical condition. No officers were hurt.
