Burglar interrupted while inside Bucks home

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. - September 16, 2010

It happened back on Saturday, September 11th at a home in the 800 block of East Bristol Road in Lower Southampton Township.

Investigators say a man was found in a bedroom placing a jewelry box on the bed. He was also found to have removed a pillowcase.

At that point the main claimed to be a pool maintenance worker and that his boss is named "Joe."

The man then ran out of the home and got into a dark blue/green Pontiac Grand Prix, which was later found to have been stolen.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 30s. He's about 5'10: tall, with red hair and a medium build.

The car had NJ tags YYE11D.

Images of the man, and his car, were captured by cameras at the home.

Police believe the man got into the home through an unlocked sliding glass door.
