The whole family thought it was pretty neat. First, you see a replica of a turtle, metallic, slightly rusted, and medium-sized. Then you look beneath the "turtle"...
And yes, an authentic turtle had found its way here and wedged itself into the mulch, protecting itself from predators and perhaps the curiosity of the family that lives here.
I'll keep you posted on the happenings of our new backyard resident. We're hoping the reptile journeyed here to lay some eggs.
